The new JIB-PMES Student Card is available to all plumbing students enrolled on a City and Guilds 6129 VRQ plumbing course.

For a one-off payment of £10 you will receive:

•	Your personal JIB-PMES student card with your name and photo, confirming your registration with the plumbing industry’s registration body.
•	Entry onto the JIB-PMES database, making a transfer to a JIB-PMES CSCS card (when you become eligible) quick and simple.
•	A guide to the jargon used in the Plumbing Industry, helping you to understand the various career progression routes open to you and the roles of different organisations involved.

To enroll, and receive your Registration card, please return a completed application form to the JIB-PMES together with your payment of £10.

Eligibility for Registration Cards

To be eligible for a JIB-PMES Student Card you must be enrolled in a recognized City & Guilds 6129 VRQ plumbing course . This card can be exchanged for JIB-PMES CSCS red Trainee/Apprentice or Green Plumbing Employee card when you become eligible, providing that you meet the criteria for the exchanged card.

Please note: The JIB-PMES provide student registration for those undertaking 6129 VRQ Technical Certificate courses.They are not CSCS cards and will not provide access to CSCS sites. They do however provide recognition of student status and are the first stepping stone to a career as a plumber.
