Plumbing Employee UK-PHMES CSCS Card (Green)

Requirements

A Green UK-PHMES CSCS Card is issued to Plumbing Employees who pass the JIB-PMES Health and Safety Test and who can provide a letter from their employer detailing their basic skills

UK-PHMES CSCS Cards issued on this basis are valid for five years, and may be renewed after that period (subject to renewal rules).

This route of entry is permanently open.

To obtain a Plumbing Employee UK-PHMES CSCS Card (Green), applicants must:

  • Submit a correctly completed application form sections 1,2,3,4 & 14 plus appropriate fee: See fees.
  • Pass the JIB-PMES Health and Safety Test or CITB operative test: See Safety Test Notes.
  • Provide a letter from their employer which outlines the applicant’s job duties and basic site skills

Note: The occupation of the card holder will appear on the reverse of the card.

Please note:

Green Cards are available for General Operatives and Labourers. The Plumber's Mate category has been withdrawn.

This card is not open to Plumbers, Heating Fitters or Mechanical Pipe Fitters who must meet the requirements for Blue or Gold Cards.
