Requirements

A Gold UK-PHMES CSCS Card is issued to those who have achieved Level 3 NVQ/SVQ Plumbing or equivalent qualification (i.e. City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate).

UK-PHMES CSCS Cards issued on this basis are valid for five years, and may be renewed after that period (subject to renewal rules).

This route of entry is permanently open.

To obtain a Plumber UK-PHMES CSCS Card (Gold), applicants must submit:

• A correctly completed application form sections 1,2,3,4 & 6 plus appropriate fee. See fees:
• A copy of the Level 3 NVQ/SVQ completion or City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate.
• JIB Health and Safety test Pass Certificate if required, or hold an exemption: See Safety Test Notes.
• Evidence of working within the Plumbing and Mechanical services industry - contact details of an appropriate industry referee must be included on the application form.
