Plumber UK-PHMES CSCS Card (Blue)

Requirements

A Blue UK-PHMES CSCS Card is issued to those who have achieved Level 2 NVQ/SVQ in Plumbing or an equivalent qualification (i.e. City and Guilds Craft Certificate). [ Please note Level 1 or VRQ certificates 6129 are not acceptable.]

UK-PHMES CSCS Cards issued on this basis are valid for five years, and may be renewed after that period (subject to renewal rules).

This route of entry is permanently open.

To obtain a Plumber UK-PHMES CSCS Card (Blue), applicants must submit:

  • A correctly completed application form sections 1,2,3,4 & 5 plus appropriate fee: See fees.
  • A copy of the Level 2 NVQ/SVQ or City & Guild Craft Certificate
  • JIB Health and Safety test Pass Certificate if required, or hold an exemption: See Safety Test Notes.
  • Evidence of working within the Plumbing and Mechanical services industry - contact details of an appropriate industry referee must be included on the application form.

IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE LEVEL 2 PLUMBING TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE (CITY & GUILDS 6129) AND ARE NOT CONTINUING YOUR STUDIES TO EITHER THE CITY & GUILDS 6089 or LEVEL 2/3 NVQ/SVQ, THE ONLY CARD YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR IS THE PLUMBING EMPLOYEE CARD. YOU MUST ALSO
PASS THE HEALTH & SAFETY TEST.
