Membership of JIB-PMES CSCS Card Scheme.

Membership of the JIB-PMES CSCS Card Scheme is available for anybody working in the Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering Services industry or related sectors.

Applicants must be working normally in England or Wales. Applicants working in Scotland or Northern Ireland need to contact the Scottish JIB – 0131 225 2255.

Applicants for registration do not have to be directly employed. They can be self employed, agency workers or unemployed. Please note however, all references must be provided by a registered company, JIB-PMES approved agency or public sector organisation. Click here for a list of JIB-PMES approved agencies.

Membership of the scheme is confirmed through the issue of a JIB-PMES CSCS Card. All JIB-PMES CSCS Cards are colour-coded; the colour of the Card issued depends on:

• Your occupation
• The NVQ/SVQ or equivalent City & Guilds certificate you hold, or equivalent overseas qualification.

All applicants for Registration Cards must either pass JIB-CSCS approved Health & Safety Test, or else hold an exemption. An NVQ/SVQ Level 2 pass within the last 2 years is acceptable, as are some other courses & asessments. Click here for full details.
