Courses and Assessments Providing Exemption from the JIB-PMES Safety Test

• Client Contractors National Safety Group (CCNSG) 2-DAY Passport
  to Safety Course.
• National Examination Board of Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH)
• Construction Certificate (NB: not the general certificate as this is not constructed oriented)
• IOSH Working Safely (Construction Related)
• FAS Safe Pass

Important Notes:

The UK-PHMES CSCS registration card expires at the same time as the safety exemption (for example, if you have two years remaining on your CCNSG Safety Passport, you will be issued with a two year UK-PHMES CSCS card).

Those applicants claiming exemption from the health and safety testing requirements, through possession of NEBOSH (construction) certificates are reminded that this exemption only lasts for 5 years from the time that the certificate was obtained, unless appropriate refresher training/assessment has been undertaken and can be evidenced at the time of application. Furthermore, JIB-PMES registration cards will only be issued for the remaining period of the five year validity at the time of application.

Copies of Pass Certificates must be submitted with your application form.

Employers are reminded of their responsibility for the Health & Safety of their employees, and should note that signing the Employer Endorsements on JIB-PMES CSCS Card Application Form does not affect their liability in the event of an accident occurring which might involve injury or fatality. No such liability is transferred to, or accepted by the JIB.
