There are three ways in which the Health and Safety requirements of the UK-PHMES CSCS Card can be met:
OPTION 1: The NVQ/SVQ Level 2 Qualification Exemption
If an applicant has completed the appropriate NVQ/SVQ Level 2 within the last 2 years they are exempt from taking the Health & Safety Test. This is because the NVQ/SVQ Level 2 contains Health & Safety Units that will satisfy the Health & Safety requirements.
OPTION 2: JIB-PMES CSCS Card Health and Safety Test
If the NVQ/SVQ exemption does not apply to you, you will need to take the JIB Plumbing and Gas or CITB Operatives or Specialist Category Health & Safety awareness test.

OPTION 3: Courses and Assessments Providing Exemption from the JIB-PMES Safety Test
Several courses provide exemption from the JIB-PMES Safety Test: click here for full details.
